Your Impact: • The Client Executive will be a key contributor to further defining and implementing the strategic plan and initiatives throughout the region including the growth of the Firm’s consulting groups. • BEAM’s corporate resources and management team will be made available to assist the Client Executive in meeting these goals. • The Client Executive will ultimately be responsible for the delivery of services, maintaining / supporting the culture and working as part of the management team to follow the established policies and procedures within the office. • The Client Executive will oversee client relations, including project team performance and overall client satisfaction. • Ensure that the project conforms to contractual agreement with the client; meeting the project program requirements, all set budgets, goals, and work assignments for their project team that clearly defines project expectations. • Supervise and manage the various staff assigned to their teams to produce quality sets of documents that comply with the deliverable requirements for all phases of the project. • Organize and direct the building envelope consulting and/or sub-consulting teams to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner. The Client Executive shall be familiar with all aspects and roles of the Consultants on a particular project. • The ability to establish and develop relationships with potential clients is essential. • The Client Executive will work closely with the firm’s Marketing & BD departments to develop new opportunities and build relationships. • Responsible for maintaining positive client relationships throughout project. Keeps client apprised of project progress on regular basis. Initiates and maintains contact with other key project individuals for clarification, coordination, and negotiation of critical issues. • The Client Executive will promote a support structure to further develop the abilities of the staff. • The Client Executive will also be responsible for overseeing the recruitment of new staff to supplement an already very talented team. • Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors (always being respectful). • The CE will have experience in leading and facilitating meetings and presentations for the Client or Clients. • Willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate people in decision-making process; make timely decisions. • Directs, organizes, and mentors junior staff with responsibility oversight of their assignments. • The Client executive will be familiar with construction administration in the region and have a firm understanding of project costs, procurement / project delivery, and project phasing. He / She will be able to guide the project team and Client with regards to scheduling phased projects. • Provides leadership, resources, and technical advice for the generation of construction documents including detailing and finish application, ensuring adherence to design intent, client standards, and follow through. • Occasional travel required. • The Client Executive will participate in professional organizations that are important to our Clients. • The Client Executive will be known as a leader in the field of Educational Architecture. Here’s What You’ll Need: • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferred. • And/or Master’s Degree in Professional Engineering (Civil or Structural preferred) • Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the architectural/engineering profession with no less than 5 years of experience in the building enclosure consulting and managing project teams and processes. • LEED familiarity strongly preferred. • Must have prior K-12 and/or Higher Education experience to be considered. • Must be a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer
