Client Consultant

Buchkosky Jewelers is looking for a dedicated individual to join our staff as a Client Consultantinour Roseville location.* Our ideal candidate reflects our core values: Integrity, Excellence, and Attentiveness, and comes with retail (not necessarily jewelry) experience. As a Client Consultant, you'll work with customers in our beautiful Rosedale Center* suite to find innovative, personal solutions to their jewelry needs and work with the goldsmiths and designers to make the client's dream happen. Pay: $23-$28/Hour

Hours: 32-40 Hours/Week

Responsibilities:

• Foster lasting relationships with each client
• Inform the client on the details of their project, whether it's a simple watch battery replacement or a custom engagement ring design.
• Let the client see our respect for them by rendering extraordinary courtesy
• Communicate with Goldsmiths, Appraisers, and Company Leadership regarding customer projects
• Uphold the highest standards of Excellence, Integrity, and Attentiveness in all you do
• Present a polished, professional appearance to customers and staff
• Help keep the store attractive to customers by arranging inventory in visually appealing ways
• Learn the industry: keep up to date with trends and updates within the jewelry business
• If you come to us with no jewelry experience, that's ok! Come eager to learn the basics of gold, gemstone, and diamonds. Even if you come from the jewelry industry, there will be things to learn unique to our business.
• Take orders for customer solutions that we don't have in-store
• Record customer repair project details in our computer system and relay the info to our goldsmiths

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
• Retail/Sales experience (Does not have to be within the jewelry industry)
• Ability to create excitement around a sale with the client
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
• Active listening skills to build a deep understanding of client needs and preferences.
• Professional image and demeanor at all times
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include weekends and holidays, as required by the business
