MiVet Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service, veterinary hospital located in Dexter, Michigan, boasting Michigan’s oldest cider mill, a variety of entertainment, and charming outdoor trails and views. Owned privately by 2 practicing DVM’s with over 20 years of combined experience, we are proud to offer our patients comprehensive and compassionate veterinary medical, surgical, and dental care. Due to our expanding clientele, we are seeking someone available to start immediately! The ideal candidate will possess some experience in veterinary medicine, while experience in a customer service setting is required. We are seeking an individual comfortable with stepping into the essential role of first point of contact for the hospital. Someone who can be proactive, enthusiastic, and has exemplary phone etiquette/skills. We believe our Client Care team plays a vital role in creating a safe and tranquil experience for clients and patients. In addition, we stive to cultivate a work culture that is supportive and encouraging. We tackle issues head on, as a team, and always promote open channels of communication and flexibility.

We understand time with your family or friends is important, so we make every effort to provide a positive work-life balance. There are no required evening shifts with the practice closing at 4pm on Monday and 6pm Tuesday-Friday. There are also no long weekend shifts, but your schedule will include some Saturdays from 9am-12pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8-10-hour shifts during the week
• 4-hour shift on Saturdays
• No Sundays
• No nights

Experience:

• Experience in a veterinary medical setting preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in a customer service field required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a plus.
• Excellent phone skills a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per year
