Student Services ClerkStart Date: ImmediatelyPurpose of Position: Provide high-level, confidential clerical support within the Student Services Central Office Reports to: Director of Student Services Position Responsibilities: 1. Implement the procedures and policies of the Lynnfield Special Education department 2. Assist the Director of Student Services and team chairs in the management of their schedules and documents that may be required 3. Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, exported data, referrals, IEPs, meeting agendas, and other materials as may be required in a timely manner 4.
Maintain a filing system that provides for the convenient recovery of documents 5. Receive and communicate messages to the Student Services director and team chairs while maintaining the utmost confidentiality of Students, staff and parents 6. Manage the referral process for all in-district and early intervention Special Education referrals from beginning to end 7. Manage the Medicaid Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) process to insure that staff are completing necessary requests in a timely manner 8.
Manage the School Based Medicaid Program (SBMP). Create data exports and reports, specifically those associated with the quarterly SBMP and and any special projects from the Director of Student Services 9. Responsible for Special Education beginning and end of year data preparation and data processing 10. General office duties including, but not limited to, answering phones, filing, copying, processing mail 11.
Use initiative in identifying, reporting, and offering solutions to issues and problems that may be limiting the effectiveness of the Student Services office 12. Undertake additional duties as may be required by the Director of Student Services and team chairs/special education administratorsQualifications/Attributes: 1. A minimum of an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience 2. Committed to the core values of the district 3.
Ability to multitask, detail-oriented, and maintain confidentiality 4. A commitment to a collaborative approach 5. Effective oral and written communication skills 6. Efficient user of Google and Microsoft Office 7.
