TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Month Position, Full Time
STARTING DATE: As Soon As Possible
DUTIES:
1. General entry-level office duties to include filing, copying, operating general office machinery such as fax, computer, etc.
2. Monitor entry to the main office; greet and sign in and out visitors and students, answer phones and communicate with classroom and school staff.
3. Work with other team members to assist in office responsibilities as designated by supervisor.
4. Other related clerical tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Civil Service eligibility for Office Clerk IV: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.
2. Strong interpersonal skills greeting visitors and callers, and in interactions with students and staff members.
3. Skilled in PC applications with experience in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel preferred.
4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through ability.
6. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
7. Ability to act as a Notary Public or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
8. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
