Job Title: Payroll Data Entry Clerk

Location: Queens , New York

Looking for a role to gain some experience with a reputable company name under your resume Look no further ! Our client is looking to bring someone on for a short term capacity to enter payroll data into their system. This role will follow through to the end of July, they are hiring immediately ! Perfect for entry level payroll job seekers to spend some of their summer time !

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and verify employee payroll data, including work hours and timesheets.

  • Enter payroll information accurately into the system.

  • Issue deductions, earnings statements, and other relevant documents to employees.

  • Update payroll records regularly.

  • Resolve any discrepancies and address employee queries related to payroll.

  • Process and issue W-2 forms to employees.

    Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in data entry and excel

  • Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex) is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
