We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Full-Time Clerical Specialist within our organization, a role that's truly the backbone of our operations. As a vital part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the best care possible, from the moment they call to the time they leave our office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls with a friendly and professional demeanor, acting as the first point of contact for our patients.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic's schedule.
- Provide information to callers, answering questions and addressing concerns with empathy and understanding.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care, acting as a crucial link between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and preparing correspondence.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a medical office setting, where you've proven to be the spine of the operation.
- Call center experience strongly desired, as we need someone who can handle the backbone of our communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with all levels of personnel – a skill that's the vertebrae of effective communication.
- Excellent attention to detail, because we need someone who can spot a spine out of line.
- Proficiency in using medical software and office equipment, ensuring our technological backbone is in top shape.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask, keeping the spine of our operations strong even during busy times.
