Scale Operator /Office Clerical

We are looking for a Scale house operator/admin and an Office Clerical. He/She will handle all manifest records for all inbound & outbound waste and recyclables for facility and day-to-day tasks for the location.

Responsibilities

• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies work procedures, and instructions.
• Conform to all safety rules and use all the appropriate safety equipment to operate any equipment authorized to complete your job.
• Use camera to get plate number and Customer Name of all incoming and outbound trucks hauling waste or recyclables.
• Weigh each truck upon arrival and departure, accurately record the name, gross and tare weights, and material type in the operating system, print out tickets; log all tickets on the daily log sheet.
• Maintain all manifest for all inbound & outbound volumes.
• Reconcile cash receipts, if applicable.
• Update scale (variance) reports and other reports as requested.
• Provide administrative support to the site manager.
• File tickets away at month-end.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Site Manage

Qualifications:

• Required basic computer skills and data entry experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m, Saturday: 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

The position is a full time, 40+ hrs a week with benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k retirement, and other benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
