SalaryClerical Process Specialist
Overview: This position focuses on supporting and improving Clerical Processes
within the practices of the Vets Pets network. This individual will be responsible for executing
and optimizing various Clerical Processes to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
within our customer-centric environment. Work will be project based with a variety of
responsibilities geared to leverage the applicant’s strengths and interests. Significant growth
opportunity exists for the right candidate as we are a fast-growing organization with high
ambition for operational excellence.
Initial focus will be primarily on:
- Optimizing Clerical Processes related to CSR functions within our practices including
communication processes, Appointment booking processes, AR management
(including PVL / unapproved invoice management), End of Day processes
- Wellness Plan (CCP & ezyVet) and Trupanion / Pet Insurance Oversight
o Assisting in growth / adaptation of Wellness Plan & Insurance use
- Collaborating with entire Business Operation Team on operational priorities
- Team-oriented; enjoys implementation and assisting in making ideas come to life
- Curious, forward-looking; focused on how ideal processes can improve operational
- Versatile and adaptable; strong capability with independent time management

Business Operations and the Business Operation Team to:
- Collaborate on optimal set-up and utilization of PiMS and snap-on tools (I.e, CCP)
- Support practice teams with Wellness Plan and Pet Insurance training, management,
- Promote best practice application of Clerical Process to improve gross profit
- Assist in managing relationship with Wellness Plan and Pet Insurance partners
- 3+ years’ experience preferably in healthcare or veterinary medicine
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with robust computer skills.
- High aptitude for learning and continued growth
