FSU Childcare & Early Learning Program
ResponsibilitiesProvides administrative clerical support for the program to include covering front desk operations, answering phones and emails, scheduling and conducting tours, and communication with potentially enrolled and newly enrolled families.
Maintains filing systems, databases, calendars, and menus for the department to include entering waiting list applications, new family enrollment, updating information, and entering withdrawals in database, and preparing new child enrollment folders.
Assists Program Associate with new family enrollment orientations, time and leave entry, purchasing, receiving deliveries, and maintaining employee files.
Assists with maintaining child and employee files for licensing and accreditation requirements.
Assists with updating menus and USDA paperwork.
Assists in special event planning and routine staff trainings.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent of two years of experience.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in office and/or childcare setting.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and related computer programs.

The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the low $30,000's, commensurate with experience and education.

ConsiderationsThis is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check (Level 2 Department of Children and Families Background Screening.)
This position must be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM, including some evening and weekend hours for program-sponsored events and activities.
