Under the direct supervision of the Gateway to College Director, the part-time Clerical Assistant provides support to the office; functions as a frontline customer service counter person providing service to our students, faculty, staff and outside constituents. Tracks daily attendance in classes and reports attendance to districts. Inputs student information in our database. Assists with recruitment and processing student academic records. REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Bilingual/bicultural (English/Spanish);
- Computer proficiency with: Google Workspace; Microsoft office programs, such as Word and Excel;
- Ability to work in a multicultural, antiracist environment;
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as working independently;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills;
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body;
- Experience with administrative or clerical work.
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Business, Office Administration or related field;
- Experience with Banner SIS, Parchment, Navigate, Crystal Enterprise.
