Cleaner/Janitor

LACOSTA’s mission is to make our customer’s environments clean, healthy, safe and efficient. This high profile positions requires a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications: A perfect position for anyone with previous cleaning, custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience!

Minimum Qualifications: No cleaning experience? WE WILL TRAIN!

Job Duties:

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

• Comfortable with lots of walking, bending, reaching, stooping, squating and lifting up to 40 pounds individually.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Able to work a whole shift while standing.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

1st Shift: 6:30am-3pm

2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Pay: $14/hour
