Earn $16.35/hour.
The Classroom Aide is a school employee who works under the direction of a certified staff member to support and assist in providing instructional programs and services to children with disabilities or eligible young children. The support and assistance include one-on-one, or group review, of material taught by certificated staff, classroom management, and implementation of positive behavioral support plans. Other duties as assigned to meet programmatic needs.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum High school diploma/GED and
- Meet a rigorous standard of quality through completion of Credential of Competency for Special Education Para-educators in Pennsylvania
- 5 years’ relevant verifiable experience.
Or
- Have completed at least 2 years of post-secondary study; or
- Possess an associate degree or higher.
- 1 – 3 years relevant verifiable experience
Associate degree or higher is preferred.
