As a Claims Trainee, you will support and assist every claims adjuster within our department as you progress within the Workers Compensation Claims Division. This position allows progression from administrative, to CSR and Adjuster.
Some of the initial duties involve the following:
- Entering new claims
- Processing bills
- Verifying Check
- Mailing Checks and other documents
- Scanning mail and distributing to proper claims case manager
- Taking telephone calls from providers to check bill status
- Making telephone calls to follow-up with providers to make sure we have all bills on a claim.
- Printing files for claims case managers
- Daily phone back up for receptionist lunch
- Telephone back up when receptionist is out of the office
- Assisting the accounting department with the daily deposit
- Obtaining W-9’s from providers and entering data to establish them in the system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
