This position trains on duties and responsibilities of Claims Representatives. The position learns to determine coverage, inspect damages, verify and appraise items involved in auto and property losses, negotiate, evaluate, and settle injury claims in both commercial and personal insurance lines.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in training and continuing education courses as requested or required; gaining knowledge, skills, and ability to perform functions of a Claims Representative.
- Learn to communicate with customers and other claims personnel regarding procedures, problems, and coverages.
- Investigate, evaluate, validate, negotiate, and settle all claims as assigned.
- Analyze claim situations for coverage by contract.
- Continually gain working knowledge of policy coverages.
- Obtain Adjuster's license if in SC, FL, or LA operation.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.

- Four-year Degree
