Responsibilities
- Manages financial & quality assurance audits from scheduling to final report
- Conducts financial audits of in-house claim files
- Drive the implementation of claim audit management strategy.
- Author pre- and post-audit communications, and audit reports with recommendations.
- Review audit reports to identify needed follow-ups, and trends.
- Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of law firm & vendor controls.
- Manage audit records, support publication of results to appropriate systems and units.
- Participate in and support vendor performance reviews as requested.
- Maintain awareness of laws that impact audits.
- Produce reports and PowerPoint presentations to share audit findings and recommendations to improve quality.
- Supports the revision of Best Practices Guidelines.
- Handles additional related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a financial discipline preferred.
- +5 years in planning and performing external or internal best practices and financial audits.
- +5 years P&C insurance experience.
- Prior professional experience with claims and/or litigation preferred.
- Working knowledge of GAAP guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations preferred.
- Detail oriented.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, NJ; New York State; and/or Washington State, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$97,100 - $131,130/year
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above range may be modified in the future
