Halff is actively seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Land Development team in our Richardson, TX office. The ideal candidate would be someone who has completed their Junior year and is expected to graduate in December of 2024 or May of 2025. The Civil Engineering Intern should have interest in Land Development design.
Civil Engineering Intern – Land Development Responsibilities:
- Design Civil Engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Land Development projects
- Assist with drafting CAD work
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Civil Engineering Intern – Land Development Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Completed Junior year and is a December 2024 or May 2025 graduate
- Great communication skills
- Solid relationship and team building skills
- Self-motivated and strong organization skills
Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
