What You Will Do: As an AutoCAD Design Intern, you will
- Prepare and revise technical drawings for transportation, municipal, and/or land/site development projects.
- Assist civil engineers in development of grading, roadway, drainage, and related designs on Land Development, Renewable Energy and Municipal projects.
- Office work will consist of assisting in design, quantity calculations, and completing plan sheets.
- Our construction intern will assist other staff with the inspection, surveying, materials testing and construction documentation for highway, land development and municipal construction projects.
What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have:
- Progress towards an associate degree in Civil Engineering technology or similar degree from an accredited school.
- Municipal / Transportation engineering or related field is preferred, but not required.
- You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GEOPAK, and/or MicroStation/Open Roads.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
