SalaryConsultant Engineering, Inc. (CEI) is the largest, locally owned consulting engineering and construction management firm in Arizona. CEI has an ongoing need for Construction Inspectors on highway/bridge transportation projects as well as county and municipal public works projects under supervision of a Resident Engineer/PE.
Responsibilities of experienced Construction Inspector:
- Daily oversight of contractor and construction activities, daily reports, and contractor schedule compliance.
- Ability to verify all construction operations and materials used on the construction project are within the project plans and specifications.
- Ability to read plans and specs and contract documents.
- Accurately complete daily diaries, construction pictures and documentation.
- Oversee sampling and testing procedures on concrete, asphalt, soil.
Certifications Needed:
- ACI Concrete Field required
- ATTI Field Tech required
- SWPPP preferred.
- ATSSA preferred.
- ECC preferred.
- IMSA plus
Other applicable certifications that apply to roadways/bridges/civil construction.
Compensation is determined by: Experience, skill level, certifications and willing to travel. Employees with strong consistent performance merit yearly increases and bonuses along with the ability to advance. Employees receive additional training and paid certification courses to enhance employee development.
