Community Health and Wellness Center is seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish) chiropractic medical assistant.
Position includes interaction with patients, scheduling appointments for new patients as well as existing patients, follow-up phone calls and texting to patients, checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays and deductibles, posting patient payments in computer, verifying insurance, posting insurance payments, coordinating referrals to specialists and other providers. Back office tasks include verifying insurance, contacting insurance companies, sending insurance claims electronically and by mail.
We are a busy fast-paced chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy and physical therapy office seeking a friendly, health conscious, energetic, multi-tasker.
Experience in chiropractic office (at least a year) is necessary.
Applicant should speak clearly, both English and Spanish and have a great telephone voice.
Applicant must have their own reliable transportation and should live within 15 minutes of office.
Position is Monday-Friday, 10:00 – 7 PM; Tuesday and Thursday 10-5.
Salary: Starting salary dependent on experience; incremental raises after 3 months. Bonuses provided for goal achievement. Pension participation and vacation pay.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
