Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chiropractic office. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Assist chiropractor with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and equipment
- Educate patients on chiropractic procedures and provide instructions for at-home care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR)
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
- Handle billing and payment collection
- Manage office inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a chiropractic or medical office is preferred
- Familiarity with dental office systems or medical receptionist duties is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
