We are seeking a dedicated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The Chiropractic Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with patient care in a chiropractic office setting.
```Duties:```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with patient exams and therapies under the direction of the chiropractor
- Perform basic office tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience working in a medical or chiropractic office preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with phone systems and scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
