Job Description:
You will play a crucial role in helping children, teens, and young adults overcome mental health challenges and build resilience. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide individual and group therapy services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' therapeutic needs.
- Designing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Providing evidence-based therapy to children, teenagers, and young adults dealing with a range of emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment.
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Staying current with the latest developments in psychological research and best practices.
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
- Experience working with children, teenagers, and young adults in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques for this age group.
- A pending or approved registration as a Psychology Associate in Maryland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
