We invite you to become part of our Team of caring providers in North San Diego County. We have an opening at our clinic in Oceanside.
The Specialty Behavioral Health Therapist, as part of the Specialty MH team, identifies, triages and manages internally referred primary care patients with often comorbid medical and behavioral health challenges. Therapy includes initial comprehensive evaluations, identifying diagnoses, developing specific behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans and providing ongoing psychotherapy. The therapist will also engage in consultation and provide in-service education as needed and appropriate.
**Most of this role's time will be spent working with young children and Adolescents, however some time will also be spent working with adults.**
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least two (2) years’ experience providing psychotherapy (CBT based models preferred) with children, adults and Adolescents.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marital and Family Therapy or or Ph.D/Psy.D in Psychology from an accredited program.
- Strong experience working with young children and Adolescents.
- Current License (LMFT or LCSW) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; OR Licensed Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position. This position is also eligible for our annual incentive program bonus. If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
