Child & Adolescent Registered Nurse, Bridgeways Program - Independent Contractor

General Responsibilities
Lifeline is looking for an Independent Contractor to work part-time as a Registered Nurse providing evaluation and medication support for youth who are at risk for justice involvement or currently involved with the justice system. Bridgeways is an outpatient mental health program contracted through San Diego County BHS that provides therapy, case management and psychiatry to youth under the age of 21 who reside anywhere in San Diego County. RN services
may take place in office or via Zoom and there is substantial telecommuting flexibility, as well as schedule flexibility. Lifeline is a non-profit that is well known for fostering a supportive team culture and for being an outstanding place to work and grow. Come join us!

Specific Activities
Supporting Psychiatry services through ongoing medication support in an outpatient setting, either in person at one of Lifeline's offices or via Zoom.
Maintain appropriate medical records and record progress notes in the electronic health record (CCBH).
Conduct or order laboratory or diagnostic tests on patients as needed to provide information on general physical condition or mental health disorder.
Collaborate with therapists assigned to the case to sure quality and consistency of care.
Participate in team meetings and group consultations as needed.
Requirements
An active California Medical License to practice Registered Nursing is required
Training or experience working with youth or families required.
Proof of Malpractice/Professional Liability Insurance required
Experience with CCBH/Cerner electronic health record preferred but not required.

Compensation
$50/hour 4 hours a week.. EEO.
