Position Summary:
We are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead operational excellence, drive sales and marketing efforts, and lead our dedicated build team. As COO, you will play a critical role in enhancing our systems and processes, motivating our team, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional van conversions. This role demands a leader with a deep understanding of niche manufacturing, ideally within the van building sector, who is ready to propel The VanSmith to new heights.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Streamline operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce lead times without compromising quality.
• Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to expand our market reach and strengthen our brand presence.
• Team Management and Motivation: Lead, motivate, and manage our build team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement systems to ensure scalable growth.
• Financial Oversight: Work alongside the CEO to develop financial strategies and oversee budgeting to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
• Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials and systems.
• Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all van conversions meet regulatory standards and company quality criteria.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector, ideally related to van conversions or a similar niche.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and marketing efforts in a manufacturing context.
• Strong operational and process improvement skills, with a track record of optimizing efficiency and productivity.
• Excellent team leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
• Knowledge of the van building industry or similar manufacturing niches is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
