Role Summary:
The Chief of Staff to the CEO serves as a key advisor and facilitator for the CEO, helping to coordinate efforts across executives and business functions (SBU – Strategic Business Units). This role involves strategic planning, project management, preparing and coordinating executive meetings, creating presentations, and ensuring that company and departments priorities align. The ideal candidate is expected to learn and absorb the functions of different departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Analysis
- Assist the CEO in formulating and implementing short-term and long-term strategic plans.
- Work closely with executive leaders to align their goals and activities with the company's strategic objectives.
- Analyze business data and metrics to provide insights for decision-making.
Project Management
- Monitor and track progress against Executive priorities. Highlight and elevate areas of concern.
- Proactively work with Executive Leaders to accomplish company goals.
- Coordinate between different departments to ensure seamless execution of cross-functional projects.
Internal & External Communication
- Act as a liaison between the CEO, executives, and other departments.
- Coordinate with staff to build out presentation materials for quarterly meetings, Friday executive meetings, board meetings and other critical engagements.
- Prepare and edit communications, including presentations, emails, and reports on behalf of the CEO.
Meeting & Agenda Management
- Coordinate with Executive Assistant to organize and prepare agendas for executive-level meetings.
- Document key takeaways and ensure follow-up actions are executed.
Special Projects
- Work on special assignments as directed by the CEO, which may include research, analysis, and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, required.
- MBA or Master's Degree in related field, strongly preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a business-related executive management role.
- Must exhibit strong alignment with our core values and the ability to lead by example in each area.
- Strong presentation skills, including proficiency in creating and delivering executive level presentations.
- Experience with Jira, Monday, Confluence, and other project management tools.
- Must be an expert in Microsoft Office, with significant experience in Power Point and Excel.
