Job Description
SCOPE:
Reporting to the President / CEO, the CFO is responsible for management and supervision of all
bank accounting and asset/liability management functions. The CFO helps develop and coordinate
the bank's strategic and financial plans, and budgets for future business growth.
Primary responsibilities include call report preparation/submission, managing and monitoring all
general ledger accounts, accruals, and daily reconcilements. Monitor investment account activities,
public funds and pledging requirements. Manages the banks accounts payable (APS) activities.
As manager of all accounting, this position will complete month-end close, help with the budgeting
process, and recommend areas to improve profitability. This position takes a leadership role of
Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) assisting the President/CEO. The CFO will collaborate and work
closely with Accounting and Operations. Also responsible for affiliated HSB entities and their
finances.
