Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the day-to-day planning, implementing, managing and controlling of all financial related activities. This position will be directly responsible for accounting, finance, budgeting, strategic planning, results analysis, internal control and insurance. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the President.
Job Responsibilities
- Directs and oversees the timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts for all departments and consolidated operations.
- Responsible for coordination with independent accounting firms for preparation of all Company financial statements and tax returns with input from the Controller.
- Manage the processes for annual and long-term financial forecasting budgets, for departments and consolidated operations.
- Oversee all cash management
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing agreements
- Lead the development of business cases and financial models to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other business development initiatives.
- Develop short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensures all external reporting is timely and accurate with input from the Controller.
- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs or strategies and regulatory action with input from Controller.
- Oversees the insurance administration of the Company.
- Oversees all IT functions of the Company.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting with input from the Controller.
- Financial results analysis.
- Budget preparation.
- Assist departmental personnel in interpreting financial analysis.
Education and Experience
- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA desirable
- 10+ years progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferable in recreational vehicle or automotive industries but not necessary.
Support policies and procedures and guide staff to execute without fail.
