Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization into the next phase of growth and impact. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the successful implementation of child nutrition programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child nutrition programs, a proven track record of leadership in the nonprofit or food service sector, and the ability to drive organizational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a vision and strategy for the organization in alignment with its mission and goals.
- Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and growth in child nutrition programs.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Child Nutrition Program Expertise:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of child nutrition programs, including CACFP, NSLP, and SFSP.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging opportunities in child nutrition.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the organization's financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and the community.
- Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and events related to child nutrition programs.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide strong leadership to the executive team and staff, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven culture.
- Support professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior leadership role, preferably in a nonprofit organization or the food service sector.
- In-depth knowledge and familiarity with child nutrition programs, including CACFP, NSLP, and SFSP.
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to oversee budgets and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Visionary leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
- Master’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
