COMPENSATION     
Salary Range: Min. $132,595 - Max. $188,200, Hay Points; 1142     
     
RESPONSIBILITIES:      
This position is responsible for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) program in Subways. The EAM program includes business process engineering, EAM and GIS software implementation, ongoing maintenance and upgrade of this software, and operation of a 24/7 EAM Support Center to resolve employee issues and manage mobile device deployment to 10,000 users. The Chief will lead efforts to both sustain the current systems in place, enhance them with new capabilities, and expand to additional processes and programs.       
The Chief works with in-house teams, third-party contractors, and MTA-IT to manage the ongoing relationship with software vendors and on programmatic plans to implement, upgrade, and expand the EAM system. The Chief will also report to executive leadership on EAM progress, lead efforts to utilize EAM data to improve operations, and advocate for the funding needs of the program. The staffing includes both in-house and third-party resources.     
      
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :     
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and twelve (12) years’ experience, of which eight (8) must have been in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

DESIRED SKILLS:     
  • Experience leading a large-scale software implementation and sustainment operation in a complex environment.
  • In-depth knowledge or asset management principles and best practices.
  • Experience managing relationships with a wide array of stakeholders including IT, executive leadership, and field personnel.
  • Ability to translate operational knowledge from the field into business processes for programming into EAM.
  • Significant experience working with rail transit operations.
