- Operate and monitor equipment to control chemical changes in the processing of industrial specialty chemical products.
- Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, flow rate, and material quantities.
- Monitor gauges, recording instruments, or products to ensure conditions are maintained.
- Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients.
- Inspect equipment and monitor operating conditions.
- Draw samples of products for analysis.
- Document operational data.
- Load and unload bulk materials.
- Prepare products for shipping, including proper packaging, labeling, and loading procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator or work in a manufacturing environment; preferred experience in chemical manufacturing
- Skills: Basic written and verbal communication skills, ability to record detailed data, basic math skills, forklift operation experience.
- Ability to work in an open-air industrial setting.
