About Metomic
Over the last ten years, SaaS has changed the way we work - for the better. Slack instead of email. Miro instead of sticky notes. Airtable instead of Excel. SaaS is helping tech companies move so much faster, but it's also introducing a new surface are of risk they've never seen before. The risk of leaking sensitive data. As a result, companies are faced with answering the difficult question of how to manage compounding security risks as they grow without introducing more red tape that slows their team down.
At Metomic, we help companies protect sensitive data in SaaS applications like Slack, Google Drive and Zendesk.
Our technology connects to SaaS applications, detects the most critical sensitive data risks, and put automated policies in place to ensure these risks don't happen again in the future. This liberates tech companies to make full use of their favourite SaaS apps whilst Metomic takes care of all the security risks behind the scenes.
After launching our product in April 2021, we now count some of the world's most innovative companies as customers, such as Zego, Octopus Energy and Crypto.com. In 2023 we raised a $20m Series A round led by Evolution Equity and backed by other investors such Connect (investors in CityMapper, Typeform, Marvel), LocalGlobe (Improbable, Figma, Zego) and RFC (Hopin, Clubhouse, On Deck, etc), and Resonance.vc.
The Role
As a Channel Partner Manager at Metomic, you'll be at the forefront of establishing and nurturing partnerships with key stakeholders, often engaging with executives like CEOs, CTOs, and decision-makers in the tech realm. Your role involves delving deep into their business needs, priorities, and seamlessly guiding the sales delivery cycle from lead qualification to the smooth handover to our dedicated Customer Success team.
What you'll be doing
Develop Partner Expertise - Your journey begins with mastering our product and industry intricacies, positioning yourself as a reliable advisor and expert for our prospects.
Cultivate Partner Connections - Dive into the depths of understanding partner pain points, meticulously qualifying prospects, and grasping their unique needs while showcasing the value our solution brings to the table.
Navigate the Sales Odyssey - You'll be responsible for steering the sales cycle from lead qualification to seamless onboarding transition, encompassing product demos, adept objection handling, legal negotiations (with support from our legal advisors), and orchestrating Risk Audits (our version of a POC).
Contribute to GTM Strategies and establish the Channel Sales / Partnership strategy for Metomic - Collaborate hand-in-hand with the broader Sales, Marketing, and Leadership team to shape strategies that amplify our market presence.
Requirements
Proven B2B Partnership SaaS Experience - Your journey in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably in security, with the familiarity needed to navigate the intricate B2B sales cycle, showcasing a track record of hitting targets.
Inquisitive Listener - Your strength lies in being a keen listener, armed with curiosity. You'll build relationships through probing questions, actively listening to pain points, and deciphering how our solution aligns with prospective customers' needs.
Exceptional Communication Skills - As the face and voice of our Channel Partnerships, you'll hone your written and presentation skills, paying meticulous attention to details and delivering impactful messages.
