CHANNEL MARKETING - WAYFAIR- REMOTE

Hillsdale is seeking to fill this newly created leadership role that is a critical contributor to the future success of the company.

The Wayfair Channel Marketing role will report directly to the Channel Marketing Sales Director. Hillsdale has had tremendous success selling online where >50% of company sales are generated, which is over indexed for the industry. While the company has had great success with many etailers and retailer's online platforms, Hillsdale is in the process of enhancing focus and distorting greater resources to elevate our online and instore presence, positioning, marketing, product offering, and supply chain to further accelerate growth, making Hillsdale the undisputed omni-channel leader in the categories we serve. The candidate will work heavily with the Sales Team. This individual, in collaboration with the Sales Team, will have ultimate responsibility for the development and execution of the omni-channel sales and marketing strategy for Wayfair. This individual must be a strong leader, communicator, and take a business partnership approach working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Demand Planning, Product Management, Product Development, Finance, and Distribution. The candidate must be hands-on, analytical and detailed, and have a strong drive for success.

Qualifications

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Support and drive sales team to deliver customer sales / margin targets. Set and measure KPI's.
  2. Develop and execute with Channel Manager a omni-channel growth strategy.
  3. Create and execute effective omni-channel marketing programs via key word search, reviews, promotions, new product launches, other initiatives to drive growth. Set annual marketing initiative calendars. Ensure site content and assets are up to date and accurate.
  4. Continually mine data and evaluating analytics identifying sales trends, market trends, and opportunities to expand and retract on initiatives.
  5. Work closely with demand planning to build demand forecasts to ensure >98% fill rates.
  6. Work closely with Product Management and Product Development teams to ensure product pipeline is full, to right spec, and at right price point for channel. Seek product opportunities for key promotional events in addition to supplying product(s) for etailer's brand platform.
  7. Constant evaluation of product performance and price positioning. Rationalize product range as required; Drive phase-in plans for new products, phase-out plans for discontinued products.

Education:
