The Channel Manager, Amazon Platform is primarily responsible for coordinating with internal category teams to optimize sales and margin goals on Amazon by developing promotional plans, establishing pricing strategies, category product planning and execution, inventory management and executing marketing strategies for new products. The focus will be on building the B2B reach on the Amazon platform while establishing effective pricing strategies, large scale quoting, and fast fulfillment. The daily duties also include creating, scheduling, and maintaining the personalized promotion programs on a day-to-day basis and managing the customer targeting to deliver personalized deals through the Amazon seller platform and/or other applicable marketing channels of Newegg.
- Promotion calendar creation and maintenance: closely communicate with product managers, merchandisers, and other marketing team members to collect and /or initiate qualified promotional themes, understand the promotion purpose, possible audience, and launch time preference, create spreadsheet or internal communication tool to store and update all the promotion information.
- Develop and enact a B2B pricing strategy, including tier-based discounting, while working with internal category teams to ensure margin requirements.
- Respond to custom quote requests from wholesale, education, and government clients through the Amazon platform.
- Marketplace Management: work with External Marketplace account managers to arrange exposures on select items based on deals sourced from internal category management teams.
- Targeted promotions setup: study and build the correlation between the deals available and the targeted customer groups, communicate opportunities for collaboration between Newegg and Amazon’s account managers.
- Assess Amazon’s marketing performance and work with internal marketing teams to make adjustments for customer and promotional targeting.
- Monitor, identify, and action on potential margin or sales abnormalities. Enact plan to remedy or enhance based off observations.
- Create reports for platform performance: Marketplace metrics, Sales, Returns, Cancellations, Promotions, Exposures, etc.
- Promotion performance: define and provide reporting on success measures for all targeted campaigns driving increased conversion on executed campaigns.
- New proposals: propose new ideas for customer targeting promotions and/or any other targeted marketing programs based on daily executions and performance monitoring.
- Review virtual fulfillment enrollments for marketplace platform, expand participation.
- Maintain product portfolio on Amazon Platform
- Initiate and nurture professional relationships with Amazon team.

- You have a bachelor’s Degree in marketing or merchandising or 5+ years relevant experience
- 3+ years of merchandising experience in an IT e-commerce environment, with experience dealing with major brand vendors
- 2+ years of experience managing e-commerce platform accounts
- 2+ years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) operations and sales
- Extensive knowledge of various e-commerce marketing opportunities as well traditional media
- Able to compose and communicate analysis on internal and external trend changes
- Understanding of Marketing Principles and Retailing
