Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Surgical Technologist, you will be an active member of the team in the Operating Room.
You will function under the direct supervision of the OR nurse. You will be responsible for the sterile field, instrumentation, sterile technique, and other tasks required during the procedure.
What you will do in this role:
- Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- Functions as scrub person during operative procedures.
- Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned.
What qualifications you need:
- High school diploma/GED
- Current CST certification through NBSTSA
- BLS upon hire
- At least one year experience preferred
