Key Responsibilities:

• Review cost reports -Review financial reporting requirements
• Assist in the development and update of financial reporting requirements
• Assist in the interpretation of audit financial statements
• Report findings related to financial review
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Provide financial management support to clients or internal stakeholders
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks to record and track financial transactions - Perform financial statement audits (governmental & not-for-profits)

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• License/Certification: CPA License (Required)
• GAAP: 5 years (Preferred)
• 3 years of experience in accounting
