Job Description
Job Position: *URGENTLY HIRING* A compassionate and caring Certified Nurse Assistant / Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)to support 2-4 residents in a residential group home setting. Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) and other related fields who meet the below qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Job Description
- Assist residents with basic health and behavioral redirection under the direction of nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Assist in the transport of patients to clinical appointments and outings
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Document services and observations
- Promote resident well-being & provide companionship patients
- Cook meals, maintain clean environment, schedule clinical appointments
- Must be comfortable supporting residents with behavioral and mental health diagnoses
- Note: Most residents are independent
Shifts available:
- AM / day (7 AM to 3 PM)
- PM / evening (3 PM to 11 PM)
- Night (11 PM to 7 AM)
- Full time and part time positions available
- Wage: $17.00-$18.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must have at least a high school diploma; Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Must have a valid driver’s license; or be able to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
- Must be a currently registered CNA and/or have at least one year of experience providing direct care (or a similar position, such as HHA, PCA, caregiver etc)
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S and pass a MDH background screening
- Must submit valid Tuberculosis (TB) screening documentation upon request, as mandated by Minnesota Department of Health
