Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtain complete patient histories and vital signs
- Room patients and assist providers with exams
- Assist with in-office procedures; LEEP, colposcopies, hysteroscopic procedures, IUD insertion and removals, and Nexplanon placement
- Perform non-stress tests
- Administer Injections
- HIPPA compliance
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- EMR (AthenaNet) and OB/GYN experience is a must
- Must be able to work independently and in group setting
- Efficiency and attention to detail
- Solid critical thinking
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written
- Prioritize tasks appropriately and efficiently
- Problem-solving skills; adaptable and flexible
- Monday through Friday
- No nights, weekends, or major holidays
- May need to travel between offices
- Reports to Clinical Supervisor
About The Group for Women:
Busy OB/GYN practice with 3 locations in the Norfolk, Downtown Norfolk and Chesapeake area. We have 10 physicians, 2 Physician Assistants and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives.
