Duties:
- Perform basic life support techniques when necessary
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with medical procedures and coding
- Provide medical administrative support, including maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Educate patients on proper self-care techniques and medication administration
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient service
-Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus!
Experience:
RECENT GRADUATES ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
- Proven experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare role
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient in medical administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and appointment scheduling
- Ability to accurately take vital signs and perform basic life support techniques
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
