The Medical Assistant is responsible for the care and treatment of clients in a medical office as directed by a physician. They work under the supervision of the provider, to ensure that quality care is provided to adult and pediatric patients.
Within North Country Healthcare we have CMA positions available at four locations, our Androscoggin Valley Hospital, North Country Home Health & Hospice, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital and Weeks Medical Center. Please note that with this position you will be contacted by Human Resources to discuss all available departments, and locations that we have within this position.
Essential Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of medical assisting with knowledge of new trends and techniques in medical assisting. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred; BLS required. Previous experience is also preferred.
