Responsibilities include:
1 – Performs selected Medical Assistant and administrative duties.
2 – Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
3 –Takes patient histories and vital signs.
4 – Prepares charts before patient visits.
5 – Prepares exam rooms and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
6 – Calls patients with normal test results, prepares prescription refills, takes and answers phone messages from patients.
7 – Documents as appropriately in the electronic medical record.
8 – Preauthorizes testing and procedures as ordered by the doctor for the patient.
9 - Schedules patients who call for appointments.
10 – Maintains strictest confidentiality and adheres to service excellence standards..
11 – Performs related work as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.84 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
