Herbal Goodness is seeking a full or part-time, certified herbalist to join our amazing team or natural wellness enthusiasts!
In this role, our In House Herbalist will specialize in advising and formulating products and herbal lends using several types of herbs, such as traditional Chinese medicine, Western botanical medicine, and Ayurveda, or a combination of these specialties to support the needs of our customers. You will offer classes and specialized consultation (in-person and online), as well as custom herbal blends. Additionally, you will support the company's research and development efforts and serve as our In House product and blend developer.
This role will work full-time at our retail store in McKinney, supporting training and knowledge, hosting community classes, providing individual consultations, advising on herbal juices, extracts, and custom blending. You will be required to serve as an educator, who conducts research, writes articles and books and hosts events. You may also be required to support the sales and marketing efforts within and outside the store, as well as support the company's Podcast efforts.
the in-House Herbalists will support our retail store location in McKinney and our online customers using plant-based remedies. Responsibilities include:
- undertaking customer knowledge and awareness of herbs, consultations and advising on appropriate natural remedies
- planning and explaining the various herbs in our store.
- liaising with and making referrals to other wellness practitioners
- providing advice about diet, exercise and lifestyle
- keeping up to date with new research and developments in the herbal profession
- managing stock levels in the store
- marketing and promoting the business in the community.
- Hosting events aimed at educating the community on Herbalism
