Home Helpers Home Care of Summit is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases in the Basking Ridge area. As a CHHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and exercises to promote cognitive function and physical well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in client's condition, behavior, and overall well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with clients with Alzheimer, Dementia and Parkinson's diseases.
- Ability to drive and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Fluency in English, with a minimum proficiency level of 7 out of 10.
