Code Ninjas, Eugene, OR, is looking for one Amazing Center Director to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a positive, motivated, energetic and engaged individual who exercises traditional excellence in customer service, business center operations, customer sales growth, satisfaction & retention, and team management. The Center Director will be a vital part of the Eugene, OR branch's leadership, operation and success. In our 3rd year in business, we are looking for a new leader to help us grow and flourish.

In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way - by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDESales and Business Development
- Network with local schools and businesses to promote the Center.
- Generate and follow up on leads, schedule tours and close deals .
- Track and respond to prospective inquiries via phone, emails and social media.
- Participate in local events and speaking opportunities.
Center Operation
- Oversee daily operations of center. Run and maintain the facility to brand and company standards.
- Trouble-shoot and solve operational and technology issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with and report to the executive team on center staffing and projects. Participate and strategic planning and management decision making.
- Coordinate flow of enrollment, registration and student visits.
- Maintain positive team culture for students, sensei (tutors) and parents with a strong ability to solve problems, think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics.
- Engage, manage and oversee 'sensei' (tutors) to ensure team needs are met.
- Uphold corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness & operational standards.
Client satisfaction
- Engage with children and families in the center.
- Work with parents to define children's learning needs.
- Ensure the center is a fun and safe learning environment for our students.
- Provide center tours while maintaining awareness of students currently in the center.
- Ensure that parents understand how their child is learning and progressing.
Management collaborations:
- Collaborate with executive team on center staffing, projects and decision making.
- Report to executive team on progress and execute administrative responsibilities.
BENEFITS:
- Part-time position going to full-time: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, starting at $18.50 per hour, plus strong incentive bonus potential with competitive commission in this exciting new market.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, or Associates degree with 3+ years of experience, or combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Past positions of responsibility involving development of children, especially kids 7 yrs and older, and enthusiasm for working with kids, e.g. instructor, camp counselor, lifeguard, teacher, teaching assistant, coach, etc.
- Knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership in general.
- Familiarity with technology, Microsoft suite, social media, office equipment and other cloud-based services.
- Flexible schedule. Shift structure with mid-day, evening and Saturdays required.
- Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Deadline and detail oriented. We can't miss dates or overlook customers.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- *Note: This is NOT a coding or teaching position. Sales, customer service, team leadership and ability to connect with kids and families all rank higher than teaching or coding abilities.
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
