We are looking for a passionate, energetic and fitness-minded Center Director to drive sales, member experience and operational excellence at our new Center. As a Center Director, you lead a member-obsessed team that is driven to anticipate member needs and deliver results to build brand loyalty. You are responsible for identifying, developing, and growing talent in your Center and for creating an engaging Center culture. You’re responsible for upholding our high standards in communication and service. By driving your coaches to create member experiences that enhance brand loyalty, you deliver measurable results and help enrich members’ lives.
The Center Director will come on board prior to opening our new Center. They will be a key player in pre-sales efforts, create brand awareness in new markets through grassroots initiatives, identify and hire the new team, and act as the ground point of contact for facilities related items as we prepare to open. Key responsibilities and requirements are noted below.
You Will:
Drive member retention, through member experience at your Center.
Ensure financial goals are met by recognizing shortfalls and identifying growth opportunities based on key performance indicators and creating or implementing solutions.
Own Center performance and use metrics and data to identify opportunities and wins
Create a strategic plan to perform against budgets and goals.
Ensure compliance and adherence to KidStrong business policies for daily Center operations. Evaluate and improve upon current processes and procedures; is self-motivated to call out risk and help mitigate
Ensure Center is maintained and facilities standards are met through inventory/facility walkthroughs and formal reviews
Partner with Sales Associates to confirm memberships and understand sales process
Manage, coach and develop all staff by modeling and leading by example.
Lead the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, development, and scheduling of your Coach Roster
Cultivate, lead, and grow a strong team of committed and passionate coaches that will deliver consistent positive performance through efficient management and execution of class programming, Center procedures and member experience
Provide objective and consistent feedback through 90 day evaluations, 1:1s and team meetings; relate to others, build rapport, and work collaboratively with members and coaches
Develop or support a strategy for team members to close identified performance gaps
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving member concerns and serving as an example for your Coach Roster
You Have:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously
Proven sales and community building leadership skills
Previous experience in franchise business
Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry
Passion for working with and motivating children, families and team members
Superior customer service and hospitality skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines, organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate accurate messaging across multiple platforms (email, text, phone call, in person, over video, etc)
Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays
