Job Overview:
The License Permit Technician 2 position will assist the MVD Driver Services Bureau, Commercial Driver Licenses team to reduce fraud and uphold the law that each commercial driver has one driving record and one license credential. The LPT 2 accesses various and highly secure data systems to access driver information, provide customer service response and maintain data integrity. Tasks will include electronic file and document audits; processing data corrections; reconciling duplicated records; correcting commercial driver records; and assisting with process improvements based upon findings and statutory requirements. The successful applicant will inquire and communicate with the courts, provide results to team members; and have an aptitude for problem-resolution both technical and with team members. The person in this position reports to the Record and Driver Control Commercial Unit supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience working with computerized data systems.
- One year customer service experience.
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
