We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.. This position is based in Virginia Beach and requires route driving, and adherence to safety regulations.
Duties:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle, including checking oil, water, tires, brakes, lights, and other necessary parts
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
