Job Description
We are seeking a CDL Class AHeavy Haul Lowboy to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating A Truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
ITS Pipeline Specialist is a fast-growing pipeline construction company based out of Richmond, VA, and Charlotte, NC. We serve the eastern seaboard providing full-service pipeline construction and support to the petroleum and natural gas industry. The selected candidate would be expected to serve our field crews by moving equipment between job sites daily, transporting material to job sites, and assuring that the assigned vehicle is ready to operate at all times.
Compensation:
- Starts at $26 per hour
- Possible pick-up truck reimbursement when used for company business
- $130 per day per diem
- 401K option

Qualifications:
- CDL Class A License
- Previous experience in hauling heavy equipment (3 years)
- Ability to safely operate a manual transmission system
- Ability to work out of town for extended periods (most weekends home)
- Ability to handle physical workload (securing equipment)
- Strong work ethic
- Willing to work long hours and have the flexibility to work in emergencies
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo (Heavy Construction Equipment)
- Properly secure all loads and adhere to all state and federal regulations
- Properly track and document activity/driver log
- Report any issues or incidents to company management
- Inspect the truck before and after the trip
- Work remotely for extended periods
