Job Description
TRL Systems, Inc is a family owned and operated company dedicated to unmatched service in the Fire Life Safety & Security industry. As the Security Foreman at TRL Systems, Inc you will oversee and lead a team of fantastic technicians in the installation of security systems. Systems include but are not limited to CCTV, Access Control, and intrusion. Take charge by ensuring project timelines and expectations are met!
You will be most effective if you can keep an installation on track, identify and relay daily goals, handle job site personnel issues, train technicians, keep up to date with project reporting, and maintain job safety.
Essential Functions:
- Project Installation: interpret drawings and identifies best methods for project installation. Conduct programming and/or troubleshooting of CCTV, Access Control or intrusion systems.
- Management: keep on-site field crews engaged in the completion of project. Review T&M tickets, technician timecards, and product billing.
- Compliance: conduct on-site project evaluations and notify PM of ‘Out of Scope’ required or requested.
- Documentation: complete project work plans, update CRM Tickets, and any other project documentation.
- Training: Train technicians and manage onboarding plans.
- Safety: Keep safety expectations at the forefront of the project
- Product Knowledge: Axis, Hanwha, Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, etc.
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years installing/servicing security systems.
- 4+ years in a leadership role
- High school diploma (or equivalent),
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed). We also conduct pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
- Move/transport/install/remove items weighing 50+ pounds
- Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day
- You may work at extreme heights occasionally, and an indoor environment under all temperature variations. Confined spaces may occasionally be required.
- Work is performed on construction sites, in commercial buildings, high rise buildings, and/or hospitals with patient contact.
